Security and Safety are concepts that we give a special emphasis and attention. Our company was pioneer on implementing a Department of Safety, Quality and Environment some decades ago. We were conscious of adopting a policy of preventing accidents at work. Since 1950, when we took part of the first Congress of the INTERNATIONAL ROAD TRANSPORT UNION (IRU), held in Rome, we have been incessantly co-operating with the authorities and organizations in order to improve the applicable safety norms, and at present we are joining the governmental Sub-Commission for the Transport by Road of Hazardous Goods, and organization dependent on a government department. |
The Safety Department of the company has highly-qualified personnel, who are capable of facing up any sort of crisis, such as damages, accidents, etc. In addition it has at disposal a fleet of vehicles fully equipped with the necessary emergency equipment, providing assistance to our drivers, whenever and wherever is required. This work would not be worth, if we would have not completed it with periodical practices and testing, carried out to prove the effectiveness of our Emergency Plan.
